Step into the world's most biodiverse ecosystem. Students explore the layers of the rainforest through immersive VR — from the dark forest floor to the sunlit canopy — discovering the extraordinary plants and animals that call it home and why protecting this habitat matters.

The Rainforests VR workshop immerses students in tropical rainforest environments that would be impossible to visit in person. Children explore the forest floor, understory, canopy and emergent layers through 360° virtual reality, encountering wildlife and understanding ecosystem interdependence.
KS1 students explore different animals and their habitats, comparing rainforest creatures with local wildlife. KS2 students investigate food chains, adaptation, biodiversity and the impact of deforestation. Every activity connects to National Curriculum science and geography objectives.
Book a full-day visit and choose a different VR topic for every year group — making it super specific to each class's curriculum and exceptional value for money.
Each session includes a Virtual Reality segment where students are transported into immersive environments. Using class sets of VR headsets, children explore 360° recreations of scientific environments — from standing on melting ice caps to walking among dinosaurs.
Explore the world’s largest tropical rainforest — home to one in ten of all species on Earth, including jaguars, pink river dolphins and poison dart frogs. Students discover why the Amazon is called the ‘lungs of the Earth’.
VR SceneSee first-hand how human activity threatens rainforests — from deforestation for farming and cattle ranching to roads, mining and deliberate fires that destroy vast areas of habitat and biodiversity.
VR SceneDiscover why protecting rainforests is vital for the whole planet. They absorb CO2 to control our climate, contain undiscovered medicines, and are home to indigenous peoples who have lived there for thousands of years.
VR SceneWitness how warmer, drier conditions make wildfires spread more easily across the Amazon, US and Australia — destroying forests, animal habitats and making survival harder for countless species.
VR SceneExperience the devastating impact of cutting down too many trees — fewer trees absorb CO2, habitats are destroyed, and while logging brings short-term income, it often harms the environment and communities long-term.
VR SceneTravel across continents to see wildlife under pressure — koalas losing homes in Australia, sloths and jaguars suffering in the Amazon, elephants threatened in Africa, and bears affected in North America.
VR SceneExplore how water pollution from fertiliser run-off, air pollution from fossil fuels and land pollution from landfill sites all damage ecosystems, harm wildlife and affect human health across the planet.
VR SceneStudents understand what a habitat is and how different organisms depend on each other.
Students appreciate the extraordinary variety of life in rainforests and why it matters.
Students can construct food chains and explain energy flow through an ecosystem.
Students understand human impact on ecosystems and what conservation means in practice.
