Discover the Romans who shaped Britain

The Romans workshop uses immersive VR to transport Year 3 and 4 students to ancient Rome and Roman Britain. Children explore the Colosseum, walk along Hadrian's Wall, and experience the daily life of Roman soldiers and citizens. Through VR, the achievements of Roman engineering and organisation become tangible and real.

In VR, students journey along Hadrian’s Wall on the edge of Roman Britain, stand inside the Colosseum, examine a detailed 3D Roman ship, and step into the streets of everyday Rome. Working in pairs — one exploring in the headset, one guiding — they see for themselves how Roman engineering, trade and daily life actually worked, with every scene introduced and discussed by our presenter.

Book a full-day visit and choose a different VR topic for every year group — making it super specific to each class's curriculum and exceptional value for money.
